1. I stopped and spoke with a man riding his bike on River Road today who was wearing a bright orange vest that read, “Old Man Len” on the back. I have seen him previously but he eluded me before I had a chance to talk to him. We had a very lengthy conversation about his life. Len Dougie, 80, worked at a plastics company, Nylo Model for 36 years which he claims has to be longer than anyone has ever worked at one job. He told me he was hoping to convince his wife of 56 years to drive with him down to Oswego and walk along the lake.
